Georg is a ship finance expert and corporate lawyer advising in these fields for 20 years clients around the world. In ship finance he predominately advises German and international banks, but also other financiers and ship owners. He prepares loan and security documentation for the financing of different types of vessels, including super yachts.

He further advises on export guaranteed backed finance transactions, cross-border leasings, Japanese operating leases with call options (JOLCOs), loan portfolio sale and purchase transactions and restructurings of financings. He also advises in the financing of other maritime assets, such as container boxes.

His corporate law practice encompasses all types of company set-ups, including joint ventures and M&A for companies predominately in the maritime sector. He acts for both, sellers, and buyers, in ships’ sale & purchase transactions.  Furthermore, he advises on pool contracts, ship management contracts and shipbuilding contracts for all kind of commercial vessels and pleasure yachts. He also assists German and international clients with queries regarding ship registration and flag change.
